Water Conferences
There are too many conferences related to water management to list them all. Some of the specialties include groundwater, surface water, water reuse, stormwater management, infrastructure, and water efficiency. Here are a few of the larger recurring conferences.
Conferences & Calls for Papers - listing maintained by WQIC of the Department of Agriculture.
AWWA - The American Water Works Association sponsors several conferences throughout the year. The annual conference is held in June and specialty conferences and meetings are held throughout the year.
AWRA - The American Water Resources Association sponsors several conferences throughout the year. The annual conference is held in November. The Spring specialty conference is held in March.
Water Smart Innovations - This conference is the largest urban water efficiency conference of its kind in the world. It will be held for the fourth year in October 2011 in Las Vegas. The conference agenda and presentations are accessible on line. Also has a Facebook page.
Water Reuse Association - The Water Reuse Association sponsors a number of conferences throughout the year. The Annual WateReuse Symposium is held in September.
Army Energy Training - Army Energy Training is usually held in conjunction with the ASHRAE Winter Conference in January. There will be a special Net Zero Installation track at the 2012 training.

FEMP Water Management Training (DOE) - web-based course offering an introduction to the key elements of water resource management, planning and implementation.

Watershed Academy (EPA) - a Distance Learning Program that offers a variety of self-paced training modules that represent a basic and broad introduction to the watershed management field. Modules vary in time to complete, from 1/2 hour to 2 hours.
- EPA Reduces Runoff Video (EPA) - online video highlights green building techniques (rain gardens, green roofs, etc) to help manage storm water runoff.
- Drinking Water Academy (EPA) - series of webinars.
